I just returned from a whirlwind three day trip to Cancun where I was the featured entertainment and Master of Ceremonies for TLECON 2017.
TLECON is The Learning Experience's annual conference where they exchange new ideas and present awards to outstanding members. I was honored to be a part of this year's event.
I spent several months writing a custom script for the event and designing/rehearsing some new mind reading material to highlight the themes of the conference. Everything I performed had one purpose in mind: to give the attendees a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable evening.
As soon as I arrived in Cancun we were off to the races. I instantly joined the group for a rehearsal so we could go through the logistics for the big awards show. The event was set to be held in a lovely room at the Moon Palace Gold & Spa Resort in Cancun, with a large stage, video screens, and a lovely audience of several hundred people.
After rehearsal I had a couple hours off then it was time to entertain at the opening "White Night" welcome reception. I mingled with the guest for several hours mere feet from the gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico. Strolling mind reading is always a highlight at my events and this was no exception.
On the following day we had one last rehearsal and then it was time for the big event! From the custom scripts to the new mind reading to the main awards, everything was a huge success!
Case in point: we had to start a few minutes late due to some logistical problems. By the time the staff served dinner, however, I had us back on schedule. Eventually, we ended early and everyone left to enjoy a late-night party in the resort's bar.
This is the perfect example of how a professional emcee can elevate your event to the next level. I handle the overall flow of the event and keep it moving so there's never a dull moment. Plus, my skills as a mind reader add an extra layer of mystery and amazement that is unmatched by standard emcees.
