CoatingsFest 2016 - Seattle, WA

Last week I took my show to the Tulalip Resort and Casino, just north of Seattle. I was the featured entertainment for CoatingsFest 2016.

There were about 150 people in attendance from all areas of the Pacific Northwest. I love getting to the northwest, especially at this time of year.

This trip was full of surprises. My phone stopped working, the airline lost a bag, and we had to scramble to find some clothes and props upon landing. But, that's how life on the road goes and you have to be prepared for anything.

Check out my latest tour video for a recap of the trip:

InfoSec Conference - Ontario, Canada

I just got back from a trip to Ontario, Canada for a performance at the InfoSec Conference. It was my first time performing in Ontario so we made the most of our trip.

We drove north from Buffalo across the border then headed north to the Hockley Valley Resortto set up for the performance. The drive through Ontario was gorgeous. The trees are changing colors and there was a slight chill in the air. Fall is my favorite time of year, by far.

The resort was gorgeous. There was a sprawling garden, vineyards, a bocce court, and ski slopes.

After we set up we enjoyed dinner with MISA before I hit the stage for a fast-paced hour long performance. The audience was incredible and I received phenomenal feedback from the client afterwards.

The next day we stopped on the way back to Buffalo so we could see Niagara Falls from the Canadian side. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Check out my newest tour video for a quick recap of the trip!

UW-Madison

I just returned from a quick trip to Madison, Wisconsin for a show at UW-Madison. We spent the day exploring Capitol Square and the Farmer's Market, before heading over to set up on campus.

The show was held in a beautiful room overlooking the lake. We watched the sunset over the water as a few hundred students poured into the room.

The students were fantastic and I had a blast. Special thanks to UW-Madison for having us out and packing the house!

I couldn't resist filming our time in Madison. It was such a beautiful day that I felt inspired to put together another tour video. You can check it out below:

The Misquamicut Club - Watch Hill, RI

Last weekend I performed at The Misquamicut Club in Watch Hill, RI. This was my second trip to Rhode Island this year and it was even more fun than the last!

The show was for a private event with 90 people in attendance. There were dozens of wealthy, fashionable people in the audience, including Neil Burger, the director of "The Illusionist", "Divergent", and "Limitless".

Even more amazing, the club was just up the road from Taylor Swift's house and the gorgeous community of Watch Hill. I never know where I'll end up!

I love my job because I get to drop into new communities for a few hours at a time and experience a new way of life. Every time I go to New England I always love it. The East Coast is truly one of my favorite places to travel to.

The show was incredible. The audience was attentive and engaged, adding hilarious banter to the performance throughout. I even had one audience member break down in tears after I revealed a memory she had been thinking of. (She thought of the birth of her only child.) It was a wonderful performance and I was happy to receive a genuine standing ovation to close out the night.

Community Bankers Association of Ohio

I just returned from a performance for the Community Bankers Association of Ohio at the Hilton in Columbus, OH.

My entertainment was part of the 42nd Annual CBAO Convention & Trade Show, held in downtown Columbus. I was asked to dazzle guests during cocktail hour with close-up mysteries of the mind. After dinner, I took the stage and gave a fast-paced 45 minute interactive performance.

I make it my business to get to venues early and be set up before the client arrives. The less stress I can add to an already stressful event, the better. The venue was beautiful, the audience was receptive, and the event went off without a hitch.

After the event, my client emailed me with some kind words:

I just wanted to follow up and say thank you again for everything— people really enjoyed your show and the stroll around was a great addition to our agenda. It seemed like quite a few people came up and me after the show and wanted your contact information. Hopefully you will have a few future shows around Ohio with some community banks!

I also had the chance to visit some family while in town, see a little more of Columbus, and put together a video of the trip. You can check it out below:
