Corporate Entertainer

Pillsbury Law - Houston, TX

Clients always wonder if I perform for small groups, too. The answer is yes!

A lot of my events are for 1,000+ people, in giant ballrooms and theaters. However, I'm occasionally asked to perform for intimate groups of people and these small groups end up being some of my favorite events.

Yesterday's event in Houston, TX was one such example.

Pillsbury Law invited me to entertain for their annual holiday party, with only 35 people in attendance. The show was held at the gorgeous Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston.

The great thing about being The Corporate Mind Reader is that my show isn't about props or equipment. I don't need a big stage or a giant theater to create a memorable impression. My show is about people - your guests - and it doesn't matter if you have 25 or 2,500. I'm in the business of making a lasting impression, no matter who I'm performing for.

Mohawk Paper - Albany, NY

Mohawk Paper just invited me to Albany to perform at their annual meeting. It was held at the Albany Marriott Hotel.

The client wanted to keep my entertainment a surprise for this event, so I mingled with the guests beforehand without revealing who I was. It was fun to listen to their guesses. Most of them just assumed I was a "party crasher"!

As it turned out, I was there to create lasting impressions and baffle a couple hundred sales reps from around the country. After a fast-paced 45 minute performance, the CEO raved to everyone in attendance about my services.

Follow Up: After this event, Mohawk sent me a testimonial letter thanking me for my performance. You can read it here.

CONEX - Buffalo, NY

Holiday shows are underway, beginning with a big show at the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo, NY. The show was for the Construction Exchange of Buffalo & WNY, Inc., with over 750 people in attendance.

The event kicked off with a traditional bagpipe processional, followed by several speeches and announcements. Finally, I took the stage to amaze and astound the attendees.

It was a great start to my holiday event entertainment season!

Be Happy! Fundraiser Show

In the midst of my busy tour schedule, I wrangled together some of my favorite performers to put on a charity show!

Along with nine of my favorite performers, I helped raise $1500 for the American Civil Liberties Union post-election. We thought it was a good way to support the community and give back.

Special thanks to The Public House Theater for donating their space and all of the performers for volunteering their time for such a good cause.

The Wynn - Las Vegas, NV

I just returned from a fun corporate event in Las Vegas for Giti Tire. The event was held at the Intrigue Nightclub inside the Wynn Hotel.

The night was split into three sections: Three separate hours of Strolling Mind Reading with two brief shows between each. I wish I could say this is my first time performing my show in a nightclub - but it's not. You'd be surprised how many times that has happened.

This was the first time I have performed in two languages, though. With an international audience in attendance, I was able to pull upon my (minimal) training in Spanish to involve more audience members in the performance.

Glad I paid attention in Spanish 1 & 2 back in high school!

The event was fantastic and the venue was phenomenal. As soon as it was over I raced back to my room to see the Chicago Cubs win the World Series! This is a night that I'll never forget.
